Q: Are all ages welcome at Bemidji Pride?

A: All ages are welcome to attend our Daytime Festival on Saturday from 12-5 PM and the Family Friendly Drag Show that starts at 5 PM. Our evening events starting at 8 PM, the Drag Show and Music in the Marina, are open to ages 18+ until 10 PM. 21+ from 10 PM-2 AM.

Q: How much does it cost to attend Bemidji Pride?

A: The daytime festival on Saturday is FREE to attend! We will have a number of vendors selling food, products and services.

Q: Will there be an ATM on-site?

A: Yes! An ATM will be available at Rail River Folk School during our events on Saturday and Sunday.

Q: Are pets allowed at Bemidji Pride?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets on the Rail River Folk School property.

Q: If I am coming to Bemidji Pride from out of town, where should I stay?

A: We recommend Country Inn & Suites, located just a few miles from Rail River Folk School! Doubletree and The Hampton Inn & Suites are also great options!

Q: What safety precautions are in place?

A: Safety and security at Bemidji Pride is a top priority. We have hired Sequeerity, a Minneapolis-based security team that is owned and operated by queer, and poc womxn, to be present at our event. Additionally, you will see many Bemidji Pride staff and volunteers present at all events and they will be wearing matching t-shirts. If you see something, say something! Rail River Folk School is private property and our team will be quick to remove anyone demonstrating unsafe behavior.  

 

We encourage all attendees to review our Code of Conduct prior to the event.

Q: Is Parking available on-site?

A: Yes, Rail River Folk School has a small amount of parking available on-site, and free city street parking is available nearby. We strongly encourage carpooling!

Q: Will there be food?

A: Yes! We are excited to have a number of local food vendors that will be at the Festival on Saturday.

A: Bemidji Pride strives to be as accessible as possible for everyone who wants to celebrate with us, and we recognize that everyone has unique needs.
